This Year's Model Updates:
Half-ton models now feature standard Hydroboost brakes, a tire-pressure monitoring system and newly styled optional 17-inch aluminum wheels. The trailering package now includes a 7-to-4-pin brake wiring adapter. For added safety, there is now a front passenger seatbelt reminder. Also, a sunroof and rear-seat entertainment system can be ordered together for the first time. Lastly, GMC has lowered the output figures for the Vortec 8100 -- the engine is now rated at 320 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque.
Pros:
- Huge interior space, strong lineup of V8 engines, Quadrasteer four-wheel steering system, extensive list of available features.
Cons:
- Some cheap interior materials considering the price, questionable build quality.
